THE STORY OF THE IRRELEPHANT
You would be forgiven for thinking that there were only two types of elephants in this world … the Indian and the African. But beneath the trapdoor to the OTHERWORLDS lives a third member of the elephant family.
Unlike the large grey elephants, these elephants are very tiny and are covered in the softest fur … and because of their small size they find it easy to befriend mice. For this reason alone the rodent-fearing Indian and African elephants want nothing to do with their “petite pachyderm” cousins!
After being rejected by the bigger elephants, these little ones retreated down into the OTHERWORLDS where they live quite happily today.
And if you were to ask any Indian or African elephant about them now, they would refuse to admit that their little cousins exist. In fact, they would simply tell you that such elephants were utterly and totally …. IRRELEPHANT!
So in THE LOST FORESTS that’s what we call them … IRRELEPHANTS.
